See what you think about PACE. The articles are a little emotive/commercial but the principle and science seems logical and well researched.
While its something like intervals (known to most competitive athletes) it's not the same. Its about progressively and increasingly challeging the heart over a relatively short period of time and allowing recovery between stages.
This work out program is different and actually quite hard once you get into the swing of how its done.
